Applications Are Now Open for the BAÜN TTO III. Innovative Ideas Project Market!

Project applications are now open for the “BAÜN TTO III. Innovative Ideas Project Market: Twin Transition for a Sustainable Future,” organized by the Balıkesir University Technology Transfer Office Coordination Unit.

Supported within the scope of the TÜBİTAK Technology and Innovation Support Programs Directorate (TEYDEB) 1503 Project Markets Support Program, the event will bring together academics, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, corporate companies, and SMEs around innovative project ideas.

Applications are open to academics, associate degree, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students at Balıkesir University, as well as industry representatives, corporate companies, SMEs, entrepreneurs, researchers, and external stakeholders participating either individually or as a team.

With its strong international cooperation dimension, the event will also enable academics, researchers, and students from the University of Exact and Social Sciences (AIFU) to participate online and submit project applications.

The Event Will Be Held on 26 November 2026

The hybrid event, combining in-person and online participation, will be held on 26 November 2026 at the Balıkesir University Atatürk Congress and Culture Center. Online participation will be available only for participants from Uzbekistan.

Applications Are Open Until 6 November 2026

Project applications will be accepted by e-mail until 6 November 2026. Applicants are required to submit the necessary documents, including project information, the full project text, poster presentation details, and the thematic area that best represents the project.

During the application process, participants are required to complete and submit the Participant Letter of Undertaking, Full Text, Presentation Template, and Application Form in accordance with their projects and send them to projepazari@balikesir.edu.tr .

Projects Will Be Evaluated in Five Thematic Areas

• Health Technologies
• Green Technologies and Circular Economy
• Digitalization and Smart Systems
• Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies
• Food, Agriculture and Water Security

Projects whose applications are accepted will be evaluated in accordance with the specified evaluation criteria. Project owners whose applications are found eligible will be informed of the results by e-mail, telephone, or through the event website.

A Strong Contribution to University-Industry Collaboration

The BAÜN TTO III. Innovative Ideas Project Market aims to strengthen university-industry collaboration, increase awareness of the twin transition, promote a sustainability-oriented project culture, and bring innovative ideas together with national and international stakeholders.

The event is expected to contribute to the development of interdisciplinary R&D and innovation projects, the establishment of new collaborations, the commercialization of project ideas, and the increased visibility of innovative solutions.
